Responses to “Landslide Victory (Kemenangan Cemerlang) for Wahid Endut of PAS-Pakatan Rakyat”

if pas win by 7,000, it means that malaysia are moving toward bipartisan. There will be no more one sided party. Hopefully tonight we will hear the good news.

Based on ground zero report, I have also upgraded my margin if victory forecast for Wahid Endut from 3,000 to 5000 votes (RPK’s forecast).

The mood last night at the Ming Star Hotel was very upbeat. The Barisan Rakyat blogger team led by RPK was in festival mood as they mingled with the crowd on Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin and interacted with motorists singing songs like ” Anwar Putrajaya, Najib Altantuya, Anwar Putrajaya, Najib ke Penjara” (Can Mali Chan tempo) and “Altantuya, Altantuya, Altantuya Mongolia (When the Saints Go Marching In tempo) with chants of “Pankoh PAH”(Vote PAS). 8 out 10 cars gave PAS double thumbs up.

At the last ceramah in Kampong Cina, Tan Sri Khalid, Tian Chua, Elizabeth Wong, Zuraida Kamaruddin Dato Yeop Adlan, Ronnie Liu, Husam Musa, and National President Kelab Penyokong PAS Wong spoke with gusto, displaying confidence and faith in the wisdom of P-36 voters. The Chinese community is also solidly behind PAS and Pakatan Rakyat. It has abandoned MCA, UMNO’s lackey. It is reliably understood that the UMNO Perak contingent and the MCA squad from Kuala Lumpur have hurriedly left town.

Even Badawi will not be seen when the results are known after the close of polling. Yesterday morning, he gave the most uninspiring speech to the Chinese community at the Ocean Restuarant. He was not confident with himself. That speech he gave was the clincher to bury Wan Farid. Compared Anwar Ibrahim who was there the previous night, Badawi is a political novice. I wish him happy retirement at the end of March, 2009.

As for Najib, the message is clear: you cannot win because you are a jinx. Kiss your Blue Ocean strategy goodbye and rethink your plans for Putrajaya. Altantuya will always be your Albatros and P-36 Kuala Terengganu is your Waterloo. Anwar is now the irresistable force for the good of all Malaysians.—Din Merican
